Everything has a starting point, but taking the first steps can be difficult.
From personal experience, I know that starting a new project can seem impossible. Despite the desire to do it, the ‘what if’s’ start to creep into my mind. What if I fail? What if I break this? What if I succeed, but then regret it? What if no one likes it in the end? Self-doubt often stops me before I can even get started.
I am tired of failing. More so, I’m tired of not starting anything. Hell, it took me several months before I was brave enough to finally post this. I realize that changes will take time. I do not expect to suddenly wake up and have everything fall into place. Starting with one small goal and then working up from there is the best way to approach things. It may seem a bit late in the year to set up goals. After all, everyone has already declared their New Year Resolution. They may be succeeding at them, while others are already failing. It does not matter when you make goals. What matters is seeing them through. You might not accomplish them all, but how will you know if you never try.
To help keep myself accountable, and to maybe inspire others to do the same, I am going to keep track of everything here on the blog. Who knows, maybe I can inspire others to do the same. So if you are looking for information and inspiration on gardening, cooking, decluttering and life in general, then stick around.
