Another week of writing has come and gone in April’s Camp NaNoWriMo. That means it’s time for the Camp NaNoWriMo 2020 week 3 update. This week wasn’t all that different from the previous two. I did get writing done, but it came with some struggles as well. Life also kept me busy as I have been ensuring the housework doesn’t fall behind and I’ve been getting some long overdue organizing projects done. Not to mention that I have been working on getting a bit of an early start to my garden, so writing hasn’t been my top priority right now. Even so, I am doingRead More →

The second week of Camp NaNoWriMo has come and gone. The nice thing about Camp NaNoWriMo is you can set whatever word count that you want or you can stick with the usual 50,000 words. With an end goal of 25,000 words, this week should be at 9163 words. Writing is a hobby that I truly enjoy though some months I get more done than others. With 30-day challenges like NaNoWriMo and Camp NaNoWriMo, I get an extra boost to my writing muse – at least most of the time. March was a crazy month, wasn’t it? This was by far the strangest and most unpredictable month. We all had setbacks to overcome, changes to embrace and a new way of life to adapt to. A lot of people struggled, while some had an easier time. Regardless of these life-changing times, we will get through it. I know a lot of people set monthly goals and will likely be disappointed that they didn’t reach them this month. Don’t worry about it. Be happy with what you did get done, no matter how big or little it was. I know I also had to adjust toRead More →

Did you know that Camp NaNoWriMo is happening? April is when this 30-day writing challenge occurs. It is quite similar to NaNoWriMo and so I decided to give weekly updates on my progress as I did back in November. Because of everything that is going on in the world, I didn’t quite get my NaNoWriMo kit filled with snacks. However, I am confident that I can continue to balance writing with life, I’ll just do so with fewer snacks. Writing is a great way to fill the time when stuck at home or whenever your creative juices are flowing. Without further ado, here is myRead More →

It can be a challenge for those who are extremely social to have to adjust to a life at home with minimal contact with the outside world. As an introvert, this transition has been pretty easy for me. I had previously spent a lot of my time at home, going out only when necessary. However, for those who are new to this and are looking for ways to fill in theRead More →
